Rayan Saadeh

Stories for children. Novels shaped by silence. Music created from what words leave behind.

I create across forms, but the intention remains the same: to notice what is easily missed and give it a place to be felt.

02 · The life behind the work

The work began close to home.

Mabelle, Mia, and Mateo are the life behind every form this work has taken.

Becoming a husband and father taught me to listen differently and to notice wonder, silence, and the ordinary moments that later became books, stories, and songs.

The questions children ask and the silences adults carry eventually became different forms of the same search: how people understand themselves, one another, and the moments that change them.

The work changed because the way I listened changed.

03 · One creator, three forms

The form changes. The question remains.

Each part of the work begins in a different place, but all of it returns to attention, memory, and the ways people learn to understand one another.

The Marrow of Silence carries the same emotional world into five songs. Each track is a chapter in a larger journey through fear, love, survival, memory, and transformation.

04 · The connecting thread

Three ideas hold the work together.

Children’s books, novels, and music ask for different forms of attention, but the impulse beneath them is the same.

Wonder

Wonder begins with looking closely. It turns a question, a feeling, or an ordinary family moment into a place worth exploring.

Silence

Silence is never empty. It can protect, conceal, wound, or reveal. Listening to what remains unspoken gives the stories and songs their emotional weight.

Connection

The work reaches its purpose when it creates recognition: a child finds words for a feeling, a reader pauses, or a song gives memory somewhere to rest.

The aim is simple: to make room for curiosity, truth, and the feeling of being understood.
