Becoming a husband and father taught me to listen differently and to recognize the wonder, silence, and the ordinary moments that later became books, stories, and songs. Nothing began as a collection. It began with bedtime pages, kitchen conversations, slow mornings, and unfinished drafts written after the house grew quiet.
